Predicting Cognitive Emotion Regulation and Academic Achievement Based on Symptoms of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

Objective: This study aimed to predict cognitive emotion regulation and academic achievement based on symptoms of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Methods: The present has a correlational design. population consisted students at the University Bojnord, Bojnord City, Iran, in year 2017-18. Of these students, 190 were selected by convenience sampling method. Adult self-report short-form Conners’ scale questionnaire used for data collection. Academic performance was determined grade point average. Multivariate regression analysis analysis. Results: results showed that hyperactivity physical problems could self-blame, can other blame rumination. variables hyperactivity, impulsivity, also able catastrophizing strategy.
